The original and best of the CSI franchise. While CSI NY tries to be too clever in dark and dreary surroundings, and CSI Miami is all sunshine, glamour and ham acting, las Vegas provides the perfect backdrop for Gil Grissom and his team. Vegas attracts many different people, and all forms of life (and death) are featured in CSI.The CSI team look like just that - a real team. Every episode has a great story which twists and turns until the very end. The forensic details are fascinating and aided by clever graphics. The whole thing is held together by interesting characters and great acting particularly from William Petersen as night-shift boss Grissom. Highly recommended - often copied but never equalled. CSI is still the best.
